We’re About to Get the Green New Deal Good and Hard

Winter is Coming

It’s the cruelty I can’t handle. I can barely sit in a room with people who would deny housing on this lush and wealthy island to a desperate single mother, an old lady living in her car, a young family starting out. When I pass them in the village, it’s like being brushed by a cold dark hole, self-satisfied, fanatic and cruel beyond measure. They run the world now, and they know it.

But that is the green movement. It’s not the face of it. The face is smiley-faced rainbows and butterflies Save The Earth. Behind it, Sacrifice the Poor for Our Pretty Ideas. The Green Movement is the narcissism of the Boomer, the rapaciousness of Gen X, the sick satisfied moral core of Millennials, the demonic shadow side of our time.  Everything it touches, dies. And it needs special prisons to execute its plans.

Yesterday Jerome Powell in Jackson Hole killed the market with the news that printing is stopping and rates will continue to rise until inflation is curbed. He has said that before, and continued printing. And he will be forced to again. The true rate of inflation is around 17% according to Shadow Stats which uses the 1990’s version of calculating inflation. Officially it’s 8.5%, down .5% in July, but it will spike and spike hard this winter.

But even before winter 20% of Californians are in arrears in their energy bills. Same in New Jersey. Prices are particularly high in any jurisdiction where solar and wind are mandated. When winter arrives in the north-east and people are freezing, Powell will print again. And inflation will soar.

Abroad it is actually worse. The German Senate is dominated by Greens and in their system, the Senate decides everything. Inflation in Germany is running at 5.5% a month, annualized at 60%. Wherever there is energy poverty, inflation is skyrocketing. and the Germans were in Canada last week begging for natural gas. Trudeau refused. So this week the Germans announced that that energy prices would double this winter and maybe even quadruple. People are out in the forests cutting wood, denuding the landscape.

In Britain, the Telegraph announced that the cost of washing clothes will double, detailing how much more to boil a kettle, cook the Christmas turkey. Ofgem has announced a price cap, meaning energy prices will only double until January, when the cap will be revised. Even so, the Chancellor announced that middle income earners will need help with their energy bills. Middle income is 45,000 pounds or about $55,000 US. Which means 80% of Britons will not be able to afford this new regime of fuel poverty.

This is boil-the-frog-slowly public policy. Just like rising gas prices. I have been paying $10 a gallon to fill my little runabout. But this month it dropped to $9. When people complain, the price is dropped – for a while – then the raises begin again. Basic psychology, get people used to high prices, give them a break, induce gratitude, raise them again.

This week too, Emmanuel Macron announced that the age of abundance is over, and we are in an age of scarcity. Time to sacrifice for the green future. So, they mean this to be permanent. Because, we have massive amounts of energy, and it is cheap and readily available. Turn on the pipelines, get the North Sea rigs working again. Start fracking in Germany. And hey, here’s an idea, force peace in Ukraine.

What’s behind the inflation? You can blather all you want, and people have but it is the curtailing of the energy supply. It’s not Russia. It’s our glorious leaders. They have done this to us. They have done it deliberately. They are sacrificing the lives of hundreds of millions of people for very very bad science. Reverse energy policy and the economy will boom. Cut unnecessary regulation and we are in a new Golden Age.

Instead, in the demented Dominion, the narcissist princeling Trudeau goes up north and announces the insane notion that Climate Change makes it easier for Russia to invade Canada. Therefore his government has has commissioned a militarized Climate force, and is building 50,000 square foot facility in Winnipeg, the coldest city in the world by the way, with firearms storage, interrogation and intelligence rooms, laboratories and controlled quiet rooms. This force is meant to police every single business, farm and ranch for climate violations. And of course, fight the Russians.

“According to a job posting online, the ministry is looking for "enforcement officers," and conditions of employment include an applicant's willingness to "wear departmental uniform, body armour [sic], and officer safety equipment, including restricted weapons [emphasis added]."there don't seem to be any limitations for the "designated enforcement officers" who are apparently within their realm of authority to "correct non-compliance" by whatever means necessary.”¹  

It seems surpassingly weird to say this, but where Canada goes these days, so goes the world.

Until this is stopped, and it depends on us, on every single one of us saying no, the weakest among us will suffer and suffer hard. Get our of your house and start going to meetings. Anything, do something. I am going to say this again. My family arrived in the Connecticut Valley in the 1630’s. For twenty generations, man and woman, husband and wife worked in the community, for free, stopping shit like this. And we turned all their efforts, all that growth, prosperity, kindness, judgement and moral worth, over to the worst people in the world. For pity’s sake, please, get off the couch. I have engineered my entire life so as not to have to go to meetings. That stops now.
