Thanks. I knew it was bad, but hadn't fully made the connection to trafficking, porn and prostitution. We used to stop that crap. Now we monetize it. It's disgusting

I so grateful to see this topic honestly addressed. I put the article on farce book and tagged you so your followers/friends will see. For me the strangest thing about the feminist rabid rush to elevate career & sexual ‘liberty’ has been their outcome of trashing the high value a woman has to contribute to society by birthing and raising responsible healthy children. It should be one of our great glories in life and not positioned as ‘sad you aren’t working’.

Outstanding post as always. My wife is a counselor and I'm a physician and we talk about this all the time. I'll gladly post to FB.

I posted it to my "news feed". And to a group that I'm in. I always post your work to the group. And I will be posting to my timeline, feed, page whatever you want to call it.

How sad that what has for decades been labeled "old school" & prudish, etc. are now seen for their intrinsic value. Even the Biblical laws of hygrine & good-health came from a protective source. Morals & morality became anathema for their perceived caging of women's & men's "natural instincts". Women owe men much for the past decades of de-maculation rather than showing them how to be better. In turn men become better men supporting & protecting women, children & society. Equality is being the best of who I can be & keep reaching higher. It may not be easy or simple - but living in the present state of the World's "morality" is so much harder ...

Yes, you are right. The destruction of the family unit is the destruction of society. Women have been fed lies about their liberation for decades. And so we see the slavery of women instead. When will we learn that the sexual revolution was a lie from the pits of hell?

Hi, Elizabeth! Your writing is stupendously awesome, and has been for many years.

Maybe 20 years ago when I lived in Seattle, I went to the Vancouver Public Library and bought a library card JUST so I could log into their online system from Seattle and read your column every week. Your recommendations are consistently great, and (to pick one example) the column on the Albert Ellis book on rational emotive behavior therapy was life-changing.

Thanks for continuing to share your thoughts with us. I have rarely been happier than this morning, when my childhood friend Edwin Leap (now a doctor in South Carolina) linked to your Substack on his FB page and I (“I *think* this is what the young kids of today call it”, he mused) squeed, and thought “Elizabeth Nickson has a Substack?!”

Best from Taipei,

Randall

Here is Louise Perry about her thinking, in Bari Weiss' Common Sense. The "zeitgeist" is obviously changing. It is becoming more conservative, rethinking sex, marriage and abortion. That is probably a healthy thing for America, if the pendulum does not swing back to our puritan origins.
