The shift in entertainment choices is striking....my daughter (almost 16) has been building her Youtube Channel up slowly - her audience consists mainly of older, retired folk who watch for entertainment purposes - a demographic totally raised on "TV" - the fact they are moving to Youtube is a good sign IMHO.
Her content is wholesome and harkens back to a simpler time (we work with draft horses on our farm in Ontario, Canada). Many of her viewers commend her abilities etc, especially for her age and suggest she is a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration for her peers.
We have yet to see much traction with the younger crowd, realize Tik Tok is where that will happen, but have reservations about going there of course....

Bret is one of the most insightful people I routinely watch. My only disappointment is that he never crosses the line to say that "Goliath" represents the predator-mindset of humanity i.e., the sociopathic element, that has brought compatriots into the halls of power. He never says how truly mentally off these people are to see others as pawns in their drive for personal wealth and social standing. It is an organized effort based on mental aberration. Jordan Peterson likewise does not cross this line when he is certainly skilled to do so.
We as a society need to cross that line and spell out clearly identifying how aberrant these people truly are such that the rest of humanity has permission to not be polite as we have been towards this monstrosity. The live-and-let-live "Golden Rule" needs to wake up to the danger this personality has wrought. We need have it identified and characterized for all to clearly visualize such that anyone can make the decisions to not give them authority over others.
The average person sees these individuals as an issue but having to be focused on making a living and raising families have little time to study in depth human psychology to the level required to articulate much less justify acting against these people. People like Bret and Jordan have the insight and articulation to lay this out simply. They need to point out what the personality is that characterizes "Goliath", lay out how people should respond and name names. Most of us have crossed that line in our own perceptions.
We need to openly identify and shun that part of society that is destructive of others for their own aggrandizement.
