From the lower 48 of the USA it appears that both Poilievre and Carney are one and the same. Yes of course they tout their political differences and the “conservatives” sound conservative and the “Liberals” sound liberal, but neither truly want change. (We have the same problem here, what’s the real difference between the Republicans and Democrats here? Not much.) Greedy money grubbers grifting for millions. What has been interesting to watch is both Polievre and Carney want to pick a fight with Trump. What a match up. Two midwits, one smart and evil enough to rob globally for a personal fortune, the other good at being a wise guy eating an apple, taking on a guy who doesn’t care, what they and or anyone else thinks. Trump has his path and he is headed there, whether the wizened up old baby boomers of the Pepsi generation like it not down here. Trump is rolling his way. But a 25% tariff on US goods into Canada is called a tax on the Canadian people. Canada can’t afford it. 350 millions verse 40 million, who wins that fight. It’s a choice of lesser evils and Carney is clearly plain evil so you have to go with the apple eater. We can only hope our neighbors to the north can start with a door jam called Poilievre and then slowly march back to a bright and robust Canada, the one this writer knew so well as little boy. Good luck in the coming election. Watch Alberta, if it goes badly they and Quebec may have something in common after all, the drums beat the to the rhythms of a separatist cadence.

One also never knows, Mr. Poilievre could change and grow beyond his current milieu, Trump is not the same person he was from 2016 to 2020, one could rationalize being shot in the ear a fraction of an inch from the brain housing group might be a game changer. One can only hope that Mr. Poilievre can win and begin to change the course that Canada is currently on. The USA doesn’t “need” a strong and powerful neighbor like Canada, but it wants one. The shared differences make both nations better. It is enough to watch our own nation struggle with common sense and a return to moderate sanity. It is hard to watch even in limited doses, the efforts of a few to so damage the hopes and outcomes of the many, in a nation so blessed with so many cultural and natural resources. Fingers crossed, as you say the first step. As it is with conversion one needs to make that first step towards Damascus!

Carnage and Pollievre were chosen by global elites a long time ago - these of course, are not the best choices. But in order to make democracy in Canada to look legit, we needed 2 more colours (greens and NDP) on the ballot, but with essentially the same political face:

DO NOT TOUCH THE TOPIC OF THE CORONAPRANK, AND ALL ITS TYRANNY;

ISRAEL AND DIASPORIC JEWS ARE SUPERHUMAN AS THEY CANNOT BE CRITICIZED, AS ASCENDED BY FEDERAL ANTI-SEMITIC LEGISLATION (but a tribute to a NAZI in Parliament is OK);

KEEP THE LID ON THE ACTUAL VALUES OF CANADA'S ELITES - (think John Cleese in "Fawlty Towers sketch: " Don't mention the War!... goose-stepping) THEY WOULD LOVE A WW3 JUST SO THE "AFFORDABLE HOUSING" TROPE CAN COME TO FRUITION.

Such blatant cynicism... they wouldn't create affordable housing in times of peace. Canada could always have afforded that.

Elizabeth has become one of my favorite contemporary journalists and I am so glad that she is here at this time in history to see what's unfolding during the era of our President Trump being in office. (We now have the man on the White Horse where he belongs in the White House as was always his destiny I believe.)

Even where I live in New York, the Luciferian belly of the Blue Beast, there is so much hope and light amongst the populace. It really is the coming of a Golden Age and blessings from above.

All that aside, we must never forget for one minute, the devils that are working against us. I hear people saying that these reforms, revelations and punishments are not happening fast enough which I find incredible given how long it took us to get to this point in the forest. Clearly it's going to take us awhile to get back out and the Trump Team is working as fast as they can, while they can.

None of us can afford to be complacent. Don't let down your guard or be fooled by the Devils known as RINOs who are worse than DemonRats when it comes to undermining MAGA.

In NY nobody is working harder to keep our state unlivable and unsustainable via the worst Climate Act / Green New Deal BS than the Dems and their RINO pals in Albany.

Based on what Elizabeth writes, NY sounds a lot like Canada. Hard to believe it was once the Empire State!

In any case, we are lucky to have Elizabeth, Sundance, Jeff Childers, James Kunstler and the other brilliant wits who are out there chronicling the best and worst of times.

It is also very relieving to call the DC switchboard and yell at them about whatever atrocity has been laid out on the table for all of us to swallow. To let the legal system carry out the process to its' end is beyond ridiculous, which the Supreme Court recently ruled that they are putting a "temporary halt" to the Trump Admin to stop the illegals being returned to their own country from which they came (illegally) to the USA without "due process". What a joke. Where was due process for the "insurrectionists" as they have repeatedly been called for all of the jail time they have served in various high security prisons? Just that alone tells you just how corrupt our Gov has become.

I’ve heard for years about how the power of the Presidency has grown unchecked, dwarfing the other branches of government. That view ignores what we now see, that the power of the judiciary has grown so vast, it is now an unchecked malignancy. The judiciary runs rampant over our government and is actively subverting the will of the people.

Hey Nate, power of the Judiciary is now an "unchecked malignancy."

That is BRILLIANT!

I have a strong belief that Gov employees in any "power" position; Fed, State, County, etc., has been drinking from the trough, and in high amounts, and for many years. And to your point, I think the judiciary gets paid to upset the apple cart with their nonsensical blocks where they have no jurisdiction- Fed district judge trumps Trump? It does not follow the Constitution!

Trump (and a few others) are carrying the entire weight of the country by themselves in trying to right all the wrongs done. Jay Valentine (Omega4america.com) has identified this numerous times with his Fractal quantum computing software and videos on Rumble (and elsewhere) with names, dates, amounts, frequency, and the rest. I hope you check Jay out if you don't already know. He is so brilliant that he was kicked out of the American Think Tank. The Republican plan is now to slow-walk everything (only 5 bills back to the President in 100 days?) so they can keep on drinking and partying with our tax dollars on their "expense accounts" to keep the status quo and rob the taxpayers blind.

President Trump calls DC a swamp, I call it a cesspool.

I’m so glad you mentioned The Abolition of Man! It was published in 1943. From the perspective of an observant Christian, C. S. Lewis understood, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

C. S. Lewis wrote, “In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.”

At base, the problem is spiritual. I’ve been heartened to learn that this Easter, (The Pillar),“Catholic dioceses across the world are reporting that record numbers of adults are seeking baptism at this year’s Easter Vigil”. . . .

“More than 600 catechumens are preparing for baptism in the Archdiocese of Vancouver, as a record number of people prepare to become Catholics. . . .

“A record 17,800 catechumens will be baptized at this year’s Easter Vigil in France, including more than 7,400 young people aged 11 to 17.” Such good news!

This is just anecdotal, but none of my observant Christian friends have fallen for the scams you mention, one being the COVID debacle. Neither I nor these friends will be voting for Carney. We see him for the snake that he is: he even looks reptilian. So did Trudeau Sr. These are evil manipulators. More and more people are discerning that describing them as “evil” is not hyperbole.

Absolutely the best summary of what the globalists have done and continue to do.

Within 24 hours of being selected as PM of Canada, Carney announced issuing Canadian debt denominated in U.S. dollars. Why? His Euro masters are broke, and they need collateral to shore up their over-leveraged banking system. They have run out of collateral, but they can use Carney debt as collateral because it is U.S. dollar denominated. (h/t Tom Luongo)

The logical question that follows is, how will Canada pay for this debt? With the monthly $8 - $10 billion trade surplus with the U.S. Carney is openly stealing Canada blind to support the EU. When Canada defaults, Canadians will be serfs on their own land.

"Because this world is a play between light and dark, and they are the dark."

After my earlier post I got to thinking about the above. As I've stated in other threads, Elizabeth is one of my must-reads. But there are other truly excellent writers on Substack who are trying to expose what is going on in our crazy world, help people understand how events shape our lives, and maybe guide them toward positive solutions. We've all read brilliant analyses on political corruption, vaccines, the climate hoax, ongoing racial chaos, gender insanity, and the list goes on. When you boil everything down, though, it's all a battle between good and evil. Or as Elizabeth sates, "a play between dark and light".

It has been that way for thousands of years. Not everyone believes in real spiritual forces, but I do. I believe these forces are clearly aligned with good or evil. It's one or the other, and it's up to us to choose which master we're going to serve. As a Christian, I know which Master I serve. Others have their beliefs, and I'm not here to debate the merits of Christianity. I simply want others to let Elizabeth's line above sink in. We're all stuck in this battle, and the only way any of us makes it out whole is to recognize everything we see happening is a matter of good vs evil. Every human makes a choice between darkness and light. Choose wisely, friends.

The so-called "elites" are nothing but the gangster bosses of an organized criminal syndicate that controls governments through a network of local crime bosses. In the USA its the crime syndicate masquerading as the Democratic UniParty. In the UK it is much the same as it is now in Canada and Australia and in the governance of the EU.
