So when the man protecting me gets overpowered I'm just supposed to sit there and scream? No. I might lose too, but the attacker will have to work for the win. In the meantime, I practice protecting myself and hope I never actually have to do it.

Agreed. And if you’re in the US feel free to get a 45 and permit to carry. Great equalizer.

I’m too petite for a .45. My .38 is purse size and I know it’s not ideal but it’s better than being unarmed

Police detectives have carried 38s for decades.

Not only is a .38 better than being unarmed but if you know someone who does their own ammo reloads it can pack quite a punch. But do practice a lot with the hot loads before using them as your EDC, they have a lot of recoil and will make your ears ring through your hearing protection. My shoulders and back hurt just thinking about the last time I fired that...

I do range practice with a .380 but the .38 is daintier for purse carry

45s are closer to stone knives than to modern handguns.

Deal. You bring your stone knife and I’ll bring my 45.

I'd bring the only handgun I own, a Glock 19 that's 15+1, giving me 5 more shots to waste.

I’d only need one, hon.

Queers don't need guns.
