Thank you Elizabeth for sharing your family’s history. Stories like yours need to be told, we have no idea of how much history has been stolen when the education system squashes stories like this. I am first generation born Canadian and have no roots here apart from what my parents provided. Stories like yours give me hope. We need to take back the truth of Canadians history and stop spewing the lies the progressives tell.

WOW! You knocked me out with this speech. So Excellent and Exciting to read your narrative. Your comments reflect my own thoughts especially as it applies to Canada and how during my lifetime the Laurentian politicians have step by step reduced Canada to bland existence . Trudeau is doing everything possible to entrench more totalitarian power but now against an increasingly bubbling storm that threatens to become a hurricane that may destroy the Liberal Party.

Hers is the life old Hollywood would have jumped on to make into a movie. Perhaps Kate Hepburn or Maurine O'Hara would have played Elizabeth. I think I have learned that you never want to meet your heroes but I would like to add Elizabeth to my short list ,the other being David Icke. Safe to say I could not be disappointed with either.Seems there is no shortage of weasels we all have to deal with in these times . They seem to be multiplying like bacteria. It is some sort of a mind virus that takes over people who not only are not satisfied to live a peaceful happy life accomplishing a few meaningful things along the way but have to get in the way of the rest of us who would be content to .As I have pointed out previously, we are up against very dark evil forces that most folks could not wrap their heads around.Elizabeth on the other hand gives me energy to do battle which I seem to need an infusion of every week. Thank you again!

Honestly, if they could just stop messing with the rest of us, I'd be happy.

They're always wanting to control every aspect of our lives, from what we eat, to what we drive, to how we cook, to where we get our news. . .

OMG.. your TRUTH, and HONESTY... TOTALLY BLOW my mind !! Thank you SO much!! I too am Brutally Honest!! You express yourself SO well!.. thank you. I am 71 yrs old, Toronto born and bred, had to move to Ottawa 2006 because I chose to give up MY life to take care of my ‘alcoholic’ parents in their old age. I had to move to Ottawa, so my sister,... the ... ‘trauma & addictions’ Dr., could help me take care of OUR mother. My sister would not move to Toronto. I chose to give up MY life to live with my mother for 20 years and be shamed, persecuted, and labelled for doing so. I was denied medical help for SEVERE PTSD because I would NOT put my BELOVED mother into a home. The mother who gave me ‘life’ and who introduced me to a ‘Loving’ God. Most of all.. I had to give up MY AA, where I was ‘no longer alone’. Living in between ‘caregiver hours’ for 20 years.. was pretty lonely... to say the least!!

My sister, Dr Mary O’Connor (testimony all over Rumble, etc) ..stripped of her medical licence, faced jail time... the horror goes on and on... wins a ‘Courageous Doctor’s’ award (LIFESITE News) for standing up to the ‘College of Physicians and Surgeons.. me... I get told to ‘go to therapy’ for bringing ... MY case ... to the ‘College’... the ‘College’ destroyed my life and almost killed me! The ‘brokenness’ of my brother and sister has almost ‘killed’ me.

Thanks for speaking so openly & directly of what you did helping others, given in the day with a soulful clarity. Thanks for describing also the desperately needed help you were denied, and how demoralizing this was. You give real examples of what Elizabeth describes. Bravo.

As a much younger man, Victor Davis Hanson wrote "The Land Was Everything: Letters From An American Farmer." It is an eloquent, down-to-earth description of how important the family farm has been in the development of good order and liberty in Western civilization. In the book, young Dr. Hanson strengthened the importance of family-farming by describing in shocking detail how agribusiness (Archer Daniels Midland, ConAgra, etc) uses government regulation to drive family-farming into oblivion. In my opinion, Big Oil and Big Agriculture, Inc are two of the big hairy hands behind the rapine ugliness of militant environmentalism.

Here is the text of a speech Michael Crichton delivered in San Francisco not too long before he passed. "Environmentalism Is A Religion." https://www.hawaiifreepress.com/Articles-Main/ID/2818/Crichton-Environmentalism-is-a-religion

May God bless you for this. This article and The Monkey Puzzle Tree just might be the wedge that can open the door to some sanity with my eldest daughter (who is precious close to turning already) and my baby sister, and maybe even my other sibs and kids. There is hope...We Shall Overcome!

Thank you for sharing the valuable speech of history and hope.

Yes, I believe there is a groundswell of common sense emerging, albeit a chunk of it quieter. The Million March (and the telling hateful pushback from JT++ and CUPE) are evidence that folks are becoming emboldened (physically and emotionally). Perhaps the lads and lasses of the carbon / social transition class have overplayed their hands.

But we must persevere and seek to play our part just as our hard-working ancestors did in re-framing our continent. It will be as citizen journalists, commenters, letter writers, and tough, bold witnesses at many levels. We must outthink them and use some of the ploys of the left to lure folks back to their common-sense roots.

I was reminded of this after Liturgy today when we went to our local breakfast spot. I was quietly telling my dh about the witness of a Nova Scotian maternity nurse who had testified before the Canadian National Citizens' Inquiry. Her story of love of job, her experience and loyalty all upended when she was vax fired w/o EI was compelling and touching - and indicated the depth of a rot that would deprive maternity patients and babies of a mentor with 35 years experience. Not to mention plunging her into poverty. As we stood up to leave, the man at the next table leaned over and quietly suggested we turn off our phones on October 4th, the emergency measures test day. We ended up in a ten-minute conversation. Turns out they overheard our (what I thought was quiet) conversation. They were fellow travelers, aware of all. I am beginning to think there are more of them out there than we know. I then wondered how many others overheard our conversation and had been given something to think about.

As we drove home, I recalled stories of the 50’s in France where there was a young adult Catholic group that did street performances. A sample scenario would involve two young couples and a man dressed as a policeman. The first couple would go to a crowded outdoor restaurant where they would order their dinner. Along would come the second couple, and they would noisily greet each other with (feigned) surprise, implying they had not seen one another in years. The first couple would invite the second to dine with them. The conversation would eventually turn to faith. The second couple would state they had turned against their Catholic faith and were now proud agnostics. The next hour would be a lively conversation about faith, with the first couple using all their apologetic skills to encourage the second to return to faith. Along would come the affable sidewalk policeman who had "overheard" and joins in the conversation. He, too, has kept faith and uses his skill to urge the second couple to reconsider. It would have been common then that some of the other restaurant customers, overhearing the lively discussion, would join in the fray. Sometimes it would expand to many tables in the outdoor setting. At the end, the two couples and the policeman would stand up and bow, telling the patrons they were members of French Catholic Action, and they are inviting them personally to study and discuss faith matters, and to return to faith. They would then hand out business cards with contact information on it.

Given that it is possible that many Canadians are quietly suspicious of government, the return of street (or restaurant or gym) witness like that could be most valuable. We certainly got a taste of that this morning. We were unaware we had been overheard. This can be used to red-pill advantage. We should strive to witness, and we must be bold, creative and energetic - as our ancestors were bold, creative and energetic. This is our generation's pushback to rights and freedoms.

BTW, I recommend listening to the compelling testimonies of the National Citizens' Inquiry - a huge spine stiffener helping to make us, as CS Lewis put it, "men with chests."

Sorry... end of story.. I know... and mom and dad know... GOD. Knows ... that I am an ‘unsung’ HERO ... ‘’No greater love has he... who gives up his life for another’. Mom lived to be 100!!! Couldn’t walk or talk... but could smile. My GREATEST TREASURE. The ‘doctors’ weren’t going to take that away from me!!! I won and I am a HERO just like my now... ‘Famous ..Beloved’ sister. I am BRUTALLY honest, GRATEFUL and at last... back to MY AA... where I am ‘no longer alone’... Thank you SO much for reading my words and listening to MY honesty. Thank you so very much. ... Helen

You make your ancestors proud. I used to live on SSI, now for the past almost 30 years on another very close to Vancouver. It’s nauseating to experience the smug “we have a high level of educated professionals as well as the most artistic individuals per capita in BC” being so dense and judgemental to those who won’t agree with their Chicken Little panic and un-questioning compliant attitudes towards those who won’t agree with them. As ever, thank you Elizabeth for your clarity. It’s lonely at times… your work helps me maintain my sanity.
