IMHO the chief problem is that the taxation is wildly regressive, & the ppl who're running the gov't are rich enough not to be discomfited either by the rising cost of living or any other burdens they load onto others. Politicians wouldn't be allowing if this crap if they weren't allowed to be wealthier than their poorest constituent. Since that would be difficult to enforce, it would be easier if everyone had a UBI equal to what politicians get paid, and the ppl who have ALL the money (2% of the population in the US; I don't know what % it is in Canada) had to pay ALL the taxes. I don't know what Canadian law allows for, but the US Constitution allows Congress to create all the money it needs debt-free, w/out having to tax anyone....

Correct. The administrative state is an ever present evil. Hanson wrote an article days ago, “are we the Byzantines”? The answer is a resounding yes!! All organizations are being DESTROYED by top heavy administrative loads: Education, Health care, etc.

Government at all levels is the problem, not the solution. The United States needs a Second Declaration of Independence.

I do not mean the people at the ground level trying to do a job within a crappy system - government is evil. It is force, nothing more.

Great piece, Absurd chiquita. This Minnesotan feels for your beating by Castro's son, we have our own China loving communist in Tim Walz giving us our own beating. And morale is not improving.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Absolutely right on.....Rush preached for years that if only the shackles of regulation be removed from the producers in the US, we would see tremendous growth. We had that briefly under Trump. We all need to demand it again.

We try to by voting, but has been taken away from us by fraud.
