You write like a calvary charge. How in the world do you keep your typewriter steady? Thank you.

Every time I run into a Webster or a Kelsey, I have to inquire into their genealogy and as often as not I find we are related. One fellow was a young Space Force officer I worked for - himself from Oklahoma and a quarter or so native American. We can trace the families back to 1600 and earlier, except for my paternal family name - Curran - which, though commonly Irish, comes from an English tailor that arrived in the United States around 1848. It's like he miraculously appeared on our shore without a shred of evidence whence he'd come. A historian that married into our extended family inherited reams of letters documenting the emigration of the Websters and Kelseys from Connecticut to the Western Reserve and then further west. She compiled them into two volumes and delves into not only what they did but also what they thought about it.

Excellent. I only wonder about the 20 million vaccine deaths. The vaccines were a mistake, but that bad?

Such a powerful and beautiful essay. It had me openly weeping for what’s been lost.

I love the intertwining of the personal and the overall state we’re in.

How we reaped the rewards of colonists, only to completely trash all their progress in a generation. Hard times make great men, great men make great times… you know the depressing rest of it.

I’ve always been glad to be of service to those I could aid regardless of backstory.

After a 30 year stint in Portland, Oregon I moved to another predominantly white community. The inhabitants don’t seem to have too much or any self-hate and are indiscriminate in extending help to others in the community.

Seems they raise families and work to improve the community. It would be difficult to find something so antithetical to PDX.

What a beautiful article on our history through the eyes of your family. Thank you for sharing this amazing dialectic between then and now. I would love to read these historic journals have you given any thought of writing a book? BTW I shared this article on TruthSocial. There are so many people there that will find this as interesting as I do.

Sadly, this beautiful perspective about humanity is being crushed, aggressively so. With all the ignorant ranting about our hateful white ancestors and the reality of the times in which they lived, how refreshing to see this piece framed by the long, long arc of your great-g-g uncle's incredibly productive life of meaning and service. (Who among his descendants got the 3,000 page book?!)

The quote by Bonhoeffer has the ring of liberation theology. Marxism covered by Christian vocabulary.

Thank you Elizabeth. Peter makes good sense.

Wow. Imagine a country peopled almost entirely by those who believe in something greater than themselves, who live by the idea that ‘character is what one does when nobody is watching’, and who innately understand that if you feel the need to signal your virtue, you have none.

I fervently hope and pray that the spiritual awakening you mention is real, deep and wide.

Now to get off my butt and find a cause to support…

The critics miss the point that the hated "Whites" created the world that they're trying to destroy. I've said lefties want to live like free-market capitalists but speak like communists on the barricades. Great, great article.

I would like to see the source for the vaccine deaths. I am a physician in the ED and I have seen none. Excellent article and I would send to my children who badly need to read it. But feel this paragraph makes the rest suspect.
