Elizabeth Nickson - I stumbled onto your substack about a month ago and have been inspired by your courage and fighting spirit in addressing a range of important issues such as climate change and the so-called COVID pandemic. What I admire is your tenacity to seek the truth with boots-on-the-ground old-school reality journalism. I purchased a copy of your excellent and appropriately named book Eco-Fascists which I have just finished and I can say that I was shocked but not entirely surprised at the level of infiltration and subversion of land-use policies and the destruction of rural communities in North America including Salt Spring Island on Vancouver Island. As a research scientist in the field of earth science for 40 years who was fortunate to work with some of the best climate scientists in the world, I am well aware of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the disastrous 1992 Rio Summit, the infamous Maurice Strong, Agenda 21 and now Agenda 2030, and the corruption of climate science in pursuit of an anti-human agenda. The Club of Rome is where things really got going on what is clearly a depopulation agenda. With respect to Salt Spring Island, I have never been there which is one of my great regrets but spent a fair amount of time nearby at the Pacific Geoscience Center in Saanich Inlet involved in oceanographic studies along the Juan de Fuca Ridge which is about 200 miles west of Vancouver Island, including two ODP drilling legs. I actually participated in a PICES-IV submersible dive in Saanich Inlet to collect water samples of a water column that is stratified with reduced H2S bottom waters and a ALVIN dive to a depth of 2.4 km along the Juan De Fuca Ridge. So keep fighting for truth in this war which is like no other because unlike previous wars where the enemy was outside the gates with his banner displayed for all to see, in this war the enemy is inside the gates in control of our governments and vital agencies that have been infiltrated and are being used as a battering ram against We the People. In many respects, this is a spiritual war for the soul of humanity that we cannot lose...in fact will not lose...thanks to people like you. On a more personal note, I live in Ottawa but own a farm in New Brunswick which we have mostly restored and is where we seek the peace and tranquility of the natural world each summer.
The diabolical, scheming, the incompetence, the self-entitlement, the smugness… all of it gets too much to contemplate. This perfect summation is like a cold-water plunge reminding me to wake the f*** up.
Optimistic I see. Well, Jesus said clearly this world is not his Kingdom. If Christians practiced Christianity this world would change in men's minds. We are exactly at the moment where Christianity must save us from the failure of Christendom.
