Online, no class, just like real estate and mortgage broker, which i have licenses in both..I started to sign up for it and half way through it notified me that as a Canadian citizen, the course wasn't available to me, it was only available to foreign applications. In disbelief I restarted the application thinking maybe I clicked a wrong button at the beginning, but no, I was again barred from signing up. Recently, my son, who is now 34 and still living at home, had a very disappointing experience at his work place, that caused him to say he needed to move on and do something else..a trade..(i told him at 18 to do this, but alas he was focused on University in the scam that it is) anyhow, the only trade course he could sign up for in Canada is Electrician and they state right on the sight who they give first preference to, and it ain't white men. Many of the courses for trades are not even offered anymore because they are so full with 4 or 5 yr waiting lists, they just pull them from they roster. And then we find out they are taken, and half the students don't even show up. Yet the college is happy to take the money over and over...with no oversight at all. What a sorry state of affairs.

Given recent actions by the Trump administration I am hopeful for my country, the USA. I think our survival has been and will remain in no small part due to the 2nd amendment to our constitution.

Vermont has a lot more cohesion between ideological opponents than you might think. About 3 yrs ago I decided I would take an underwriting course. Online, no class, just like real estate and mortgage broker, which i have licenses in both..I started to sign up for it and half way through it notified me that as a Canadian citizen, the course wasn't available to me, it was only available to foreign applications. In disbelief I restarted the application thinking maybe I clicked a wrong button at the beginning, but no, I was again barred from signing up. I was flabbergasted (that's a north American term mainly used by white, yes I said it, white people)
Recently, my son, who is now 34 and still living at home, had a very disappointing experience at his work place, that caused him to say he needed to move on and do something else..a trade..(i told him at 18 to do this, but alas he was focused on University in the scam that it is) anyhow, the only trade course he could sign up for in Canada is Electrician and they state right on the sight who they give first preference to, and it ain't white men. Many of the courses for trades are not even offered anymore because they are so full with 4 or 5 yr waiting lists, they just pull them from they roster. And then we find out they are taken, and half the students don't even show up. Yet the college is happy to take the money over and over...with no oversight at all. What a sorry state of affairs.

Your son shouldn't limit himself to electrical. Crane operator, pipefitting, HVAC, millwright, plumbing and power lineman are well paid, better than sparky. I forgot instrumentation... Easier on the body but more math and physics. But you can do it well past "retirement age".
Inquire at local trade union apprenticeship programs. Their waitlists might be shorter. IOUE, IBEW, UA (plumbing/pipefitting)
there's an element of physical risk in all trades, but union sites are often more safety conscious and the unions will always have a good employee extended benefits plan as well as a proper pension. I started a union sparky apprenticeship at 38 and made it.

So for those who are professing Christians, we need to take a good hard look at who our God is in a pragmatic, practical sense. Back in 2008, when I got married, I did a lot of research and found something (that *should be*) very troubling- The vast majority of professing believers would have no problem if a Christian Couple just went down to the Courthouse & got their 'License'. This would be considered legitimate. However, if a Couple (by some miracle) found a Pastor and a Church that would marry them and they did not get a 'license', that would *NOT* be seen as Valid.
So where the rubber meets the road, in the world of the pragmatic and practical, who then, is our God? Our Governments have worked very hard over a long time to make us treat them as our gods for all those practical purposes.
Why this is relevant should be obvious. The Liars, Murders, Thieves that are 'in charge' are not legtimate. Why then, should they be listened to? Sadly, that was made very clear in Canda during the Trucker's Strike of a few years ago.
