Good morning. Listened to “I owe my soul to the company store” several times lately. Tennessee Ernie Ford is great but I prefer the ZZ Top and Jeff beck version. That’s what we’ve become as a once free people. Everyone get ahold of your legislators and support people fighting the good fight. There are many fights to fight right now but the battle for resources is one of the most important. He who controls the food , water and natural resources of any kind controls us. China is desperately trying to control Michigan because it has access to world’s largest water reserves. To obey tyrants is dishonor God.

Being from WV and now living in FL this comment hit. Most people don't get the reference when I talk about the company store.

We need to thank Jerome Powell for single-handedly pulling the plug on all of this ESG and DEI nonsense. All politicians and media are violently opposing him, trying to undo his solution.

Thanks for reporting on Europe. Our corrupt media doesn't tell us about Europe's change of heart.

Unfortunately the US political system, unlike Europe, is totally nonfunctional and dead. It just keeps making more wars and more torture, enriching the rich and killing the poor.

Did he pull the plug on DEI? I haven't seen this yet. I hope you're right and it dies a quick death.

We're all the working poor for the company store. Especially if you rent.

Wise words. The productive people in this world are being micromanaged by the people who produce nothing. The claim that we all own everything but must seek approval from the guardians of the collective in order to do anything, is at the root or our societal rot. Having to seek approval to live, to beg to use the earth's resources, and those being held as custodial property by a ruling class, says something about where our right to life has evaporated to.

Once the guys running a three card Monty game in the Boston Common get busted, they simply change the game and move it to a different corner of the Common. Everyone who can put fog on a mirror know this, but some suckers keep coming back and there always plenty of new rubes who figure they are smarter than the loaded deck and never see the look outs. The very nature of our new ruling class, the politicians and so called leaders of the financial world are caught daily, they just laugh and move the game, and start over. This will work until it doesn’t. At some point all the people won’t be fooled all the time anymore, and if the American public who has just been stomped on hard for the last 30-40 years get angry, look out. Time has always shown that once an inflection point is hit, a Rubicon crossed, just about anything and everything is possible. A real knee knocking comeuppance for these awful people running the show can’t come soon enough.

I can't thank you enough for those article. my best friend and I both farm and we had never heard of this. The feelings you seem to have about this ae pretty much my own. With the Rockefellers and UN both supporting it, you know it has to be double evil.

"We the people" who were mentioned in the preamble to the constitution were only the people who signed it at the end of the document. They matter. Nobody else does. It was a plantation to start, written by plantation owners and their heirs like Hamilton, Madison, and Washington.

The body of the constitution contains no provision for the national government to own forests, parks, or empty land. But it does. And you probably pay Booz Allen Hamilton to visit the national park near you. The military contractors already control access.

Also not found in the constitution: any mention of God or divine providence. You want to know how your country came to be owned by demon worshippers? That's how.

Most don’t realize that “the articles of confederation” were altered during the constitutional convention behind locked doors. A large portion of the original delegates weren’t there to sign the final product and were vehemently against much of it. Still, it’s better than nothing and for quite a long time the illusion of freedom felt real. Sadly those days have past. Ponzi schemes eventually collapse as the too much cream rises to the top. Brace yourself - the next few years are going to be a rough ride.

It's true that cream rises to the top. So does scum.

True. And what is to happen with the proceeds of these NAC sales? Will they pay off the federal debt, provide proceeds to taxpayers? I somehow doubt it.

Sure, and the TARP programme protected home owners from foreclosure during the 2008-11 financial crisis. And the govt prevented robo-signing of mortgages by the finks at Citigroup, Bank of America, and Countrywide. Yeah, I doubt if anyone in the govt is paying attention. They are lining their pockets. Just checked out your Substack and see you'refrom Tennessee. I saw a great Tuttle Twins article that said Tennessee is working at turning away all US Gov funds for education and taking back Education to the state level. Cudos to Tennessee.

Expand full comment

Yes that is true but of course the Democrats are calling the legislators that want to get out from under the boot of federal government education racists. They think money is the answer. Well we have been taking federal money for education for many, many decades and our kids are dumber today than ever before. We are also going to pass legislation to make gold/silver legal tender, a precious metal depository AND a process in which to invoke Nullification and put the criminal federal government back in its lane.

Awesome. Pray that many states are doing the same!

What Net Zero 's ultimate end game really is all about is zero energy , not zero carbon. They want to remove our ability to fend for ourselves. No oil, gas, diesel, wood, coal , nothing! They want us all reliant on what they will dole out. Electricity is the way they will do it. It will be meted out through our social credit . If you fall below their set margin , no energy for you. The whole electric car boondoggle is eventually not for getting everyone to buy electric cars. Where it is intended to go is a pay per ride system. No independence , total reliance on THEM. No car ownership for us. The wealthy will pay their carbon tax which will allow them their private vehicles . It first hit home for me when Volkswagen was targeted and brought to heel when they were producing diesel engine technology which was capable of getting several times miles per gallon /cleaner efficiency then previously marketed.Anyone who has heard of Kill Gates' plan ( now in operation) to dim the sun and cut down and bury forests and not understand the world is run by non-human psychopaths are among the walking dead! Thanks again Elizabeth!

Not sure if VW fake testing diesel technology is a good example.

Otherwise I'm on board

Hi David, Yes, they fudged the data slightly. All auto corps. skew figures. All companies in general skew figures . The government exists to lie about everything. What happened was VW was targeted because they had a diesel vehicle that cost 22k which had a 700 mile range (50 mpg). The powers that be figured rightly that it EVs would be a hard sell at twice the price ( and twice the weight) if you could own a more efficient vehicle at half the price. More efficient because the amount of energy it takes to produce and maintain the EV far out weighs the energy to produce and maintain the Diesel when you factor in everything. Eric Peters , on the David Knight show yesterday explains this better than I can . Go to hour #3 of the podcast . He is a very smart fellow when it comes to all things transportation related.

How were they targeted?

I don't know anything about them being targeted by the government.

I do know VW put in a switch that made the diesel's run cleaner once they were hooked up to emissions testing.

It's all part of the removal of our FREEDOM by the Elite (WEF) New World Order!

We're now nearly 4 years beyond the point of no return with these mRNA Gene Editing injections, they pretended were VACCINES! Those believing Big Pharma, the media, the medical industry and governments have all now been terminated (CULLED) or simply Genetically Modified.

There are so many serious side effects (Adverse Reactions) and DEATHS that follow the non-vax injections, it's embarrassing that there are still some that keep getting jabs - ANY JABS!

Injection recipients are LUCKY if they got a 'bad batch' and dodged the bullet! These survivors will probably find a dramatically shortened Life Expectancy was all they got from the Covid jab!

"Natural Asset Companies are an attempt to grab hard assets to make up for an inevitable collapse. But taking more land out of production makes it certain that collapse moves ever closer. Land needs to be used, cared for, and maintained by the people who live on and use the land."

True! The basis for the evils of land control is what leftists call "public ownership". It really means ownership by the people who control the government. Do we want Joe Biden or Black Rock to control the land? Is there really much of a difference?

There are no words for this. Outrageous, shocking, and criminal hardly do it justice. Isn’t there sone kind of law governing what can be done with national parks? Where are the greenies and environmentalists? Isn’t there anybody left in this God-forsaken country who cares about our beautiful land? We could really use sone of those brain-dead protesters now to glue themselves to the roadways, etc.

This is what the man behind the curtain that we're to pay no attention to is doing his best to distract us from with his Climate Disaster and Wildfires and Ukraine and Gaza and whatever he comes up with next. We can take heart from Canada's Truckers and the Netherlands's Farmers and France's Yellow Vests and actually do something to put pressure on the do-nothing legislators who rely on our votes to get their ill-gotten millions.

My local school board has relented to our consistent pressure/threats year after year to get our High School updated - we can work at the local and State level if we get on it. Now we have to push and give $$ to (G_d help me) Federal Representatives and even Senators - do the right thing, dammit, we're watching!

Pray, meditate, do the next right thing.

Oh, those National Parks... When I was young I would hike over Cascade Pass often. This is in the North Cascades National Park and it is a beautiful hike. I'd hike over the pass and down the Stehekin River to the little town of Stehekin at the head of Lake Chelan. Stehekin is a Libertarian Shangri-La IMO.

I've probably hiked that route over thirty times.

I would carry a gun in my backpack for protection against bears. There are lots of bears and a few mountain lions in the park.

Of course, the National Park Service didn't allow this but I knew a ranger who had his face mauled by a bear and I didn't want to look like him.

At the east end of Pelton Basin just east of Cascade Pass, the rangers had a big tent hidden away. This is where they lived in the summer and they'd maintain the trail and check camping permits of hikers coming over the pass.

One time, a ranger asked to see my permit, no problem. I had the permit wired to the outside of my backpack.

Then he wanted to search my backpack.

I told him in no uncertain terms "NO!"

And he backed off.

I am no fan of the NPS rangers.
