You cannot owe a debt without an agreement. You never signed for the "national" debt. You were never informed of how every penny is spent. Therefore it's not your debt. The politicians who agreed to it and the bureau rats who spent it owe all of it. So you should take everything from them. They deserve nothing.

It doesn't work like that when the currency fails in hyperinflation. By definition, you cannot link the consequences of sloppy monetary policy to those who sowed it. You might as well say you want nothing to do with environmental pollution and it should be cast upon the chemical manufacturers -- that won't prevent you and your children getting cancer.

Jim Davidson's avatar

You sound like you want to blame the victims of policies to which none of us consented. If you, John, do not want your children to get cancer, don't have them poisoned jabs by doctors who work for demon worshippers who want to exterminate you and your family.

To be very candid, I don't care how you think it doesn't work.

Alexander Scipio's avatar

While in agreement with your basic thought, the fact of the matter is that we not only voted into office the bastards who indebted us to the tune of $37T (and well over $200T of unfunded liabilities), we re-elect them at a rate of about 95%. To say the actions of those elect are not our fault, or that we have no responsibility for the debt they create is just naive - embarrassingly so.

Cynicon Implant's avatar

Our elections are rigged, hence the 95% reelection rate.

Ernest Judd's avatar

Even Canada's elections are rigged.

Jim Davidson's avatar

False. I didn't vote. Haven't since 1990. Won't. About 116 million Americans qualified to vote did not do so in 2024. Another 76.1 million were not allowed to vote. They are selected. There is no consent of the governed. Your ideas on blaming the victims are alarming. Were we asking for it? Do we deserve to be enslaved and treated like animals. No, I don't think you agree with my basic premise. You want to pretend there is consent. Your argument is "the Social Contract" with all the Jacobins manning the guillotine. Next

Alexander Scipio's avatar

Choosing not to vote is choosing to be irrelevant. The country of which you are a part… voted. Whether or not you voted is irrelevant at a macro level. Blaming rigged elections is simply blaming people for not acting in their own interest; these people, too, are irrelevant.

Retired's avatar

You are correct. The current trend on the right is since elections are rigged I might as well not vote. We should all remember that “Too big to rig” happened because people knew they had to vote.

Jim Davidson's avatar

If you have democracy you are living in a Zionist Occupied country.

All Western countries have "Anti-Semitic Legislation", which if not repealed the same rodeo will keep occurring again and again upon the countries the Zionists rule over.

The Anti-Semitie trope is no different than someone calling another an asshole.

The actual Anti-Semites are the Israelis themselves and the Palestinians are the actual Semites, as they never left the Levant.

North American, European and elsewhere Jews can only be Semitic if they were born in the Levant. Otherwise they are living FRAUDS.

S.P.H.'s avatar

Because you don't vote you think a ballot is not cast in your name? With centralized voter rolls, digital names on the internet, mail in balloting along with daily vote totals being sent to the MSM, the evil ones know exactly how many votes are needed and where to find them.

Ernest Judd's avatar

Try this:

Go to the polling station; have your name crossed off the voters list; collect your ballot, and to the polling booth; gaze wistfully at the names of those patsies you won't be voting for; fold up the ballot and dispense into the ballot box! I have voted this way since 2000.

Imagine IF >>50% voted this way...

Bryce E. 'Esquire' Rasmussen's avatar

True. And Trump could pay off that debt in one shot, or walk away from it and no one can do anything. So why this way? Optics. Consider. That this guy knows the debt is bullshit and has so much power he can pay it off anyways. This also means those who hold the debt over America will know, in short order, they have no control over America.

Meanwhile, 475 illegal Korean immigrants were arrested working in a Hyundai plant in the US. Doing jobs" no American would do" such as good paying auto plant jobs.

Hyundai avoided tariffs by producing some of their cars in America.

They also avoided hiring American workers ,it appears.

Seems like this deserves a special fine and unless and until all jobs are proven to be filled by American citizens, Americans should boycott Hyundai.

I am in the market for a vehicle and actually was considering an American made Hyundai. I was on the fence because I didn't care for the models produced here. This seals the deal for me. I'll look elsewhere to support American workers.

ALtab's avatar

Doing jobs most Americans won’t do has been one of their most successful lies….

What I have been asking myself is: how did those people get into our country? Huge smuggling operation run by whom? Visitor visa overstays? Irregular H1- B visas? Now their government swears it will "defend" their rights. What does that mean? Defend their right to break our laws? And go for any Toyota product that suits your fancy. They are the most reliable on the market. You won't regret it.

DougMich's avatar

You do know the Japanese had “silent recalls” for years? Don’t know how they got away with it (probably paid off our corrupt politicians). The quality was vastly overstated. Glad you got a good one, but it was all a mirage to hand them our auto industry. Come to Michigan and see what that decision did to towns like Flint, Pontiac and Detroit.

La Lydia's avatar

Mine is made in Princeton, Indiana. The one I had before was made in Kentucky. I have never had a recall, silent or otherwise. But I hear you. People I know who drive Hondas have a series of problems. And I realize what has happened to those communities in Michigan. Preventable tragedy brought about by OUR OWN GOVERNMENT.

DougMich's avatar

Exactly. I’m not saying they’re not good cars (I was in the industry almost 35 years), and these days with foreign ownership of most of the supply base, you’re not hurting American workers by buying a Toyota vs a Chevy these days. You should see how much of GM’s supply base went to Chinese owned companies after the bankruptcy. I’d go into their lobby and half the visitors were Chinese. Something the Obama Administration probably worked out in exchange for government bucks.

You and Mike Benz have nailed it, explaining how the corrupt imperialists and degenerates of the UK have poisoned the well of freedom. What I would add is that the Anglo Zionist hybrid deep state is what we are really dealing with because without Rothschild money there would have been no artificially created state of Israel. A merger of two ethno supremacist mind sets, both of which are founded on expedient fictions lacking the depth of real myth. Also remember that Britain launched the Covid scam with the intentional overdosing of disabled patients in Care homes with midazolam. Matt Hancock is still at large in spite of the leaked video recording of the zoom conference in which he and Luke Evans made sure they would have enough of the sedative to euthanize the disabled, some of whom were cognitively less damaged than many of our government officials. Fabulous post! It’s insane that so many Canadians still can’t see that Canada is on exactly the same path as Europe. But unfortunately we have no one in elected power able to stop the trajectory. Because our policies are directed by the same people and rolled out at the city level where no one is paying attention to the growing debt and societal decay. The frontline managers of city programs are no longer elected officials & respected bureaucrats. They are known far left activists and anarchists. Just this week, an Instagram post from a service provider promoted taxpayer funding to facilitate prostitution and open drug use in the city of London, Ontario. Oddly enough, the post was intended to shame an elected official for criticizing the idea! The employees of the organization are represented by Cupe - Canadian Union of Public Employees! Rather than recognize the danger ignorant, low information voters are running around with their Cupe Campaign initiated ‘elbows up’, criticizing Donald Trump!

ALtab's avatar

Canada will awaken and rise with the US!

Mike Ware's avatar

We’ll see. They didn’t rise up after what happened to the Trucker’s. They didn’t rise up after that pig bankster Carney was installed. I’m concerned about my own country also. They threw the J6er’s in prison and nobody lifted a finger. And we still have cheat machines stealing our elections up and down the ballot. The only reason Trump was allowed to win this last election was because it would have been so incredibly blatant, they didn’t want to chance the complete meltdown of the US. But scores of congressional seats WERE stolen! How was it possible that President Trump had ZERO coattails and we end up with a paper thin majority? Because the cheat machines and phony mail-in paper ballots are still in place. What has been done about it? Absolutely NOTHING!

Sally135's avatar

They're just waiting Trump out and meanwhile using judges and media lies to try and block everything Trump does. The GOP senate apparently is going along with this - not allowing recess appointments etc. I think they are waiting to overturn the executive orders ergo the EOs are not voted into law by the corrupt bastards in Congress. It should be illegal to bribe a congressman but since they are the lawmakers they made it legal. I suspect fixing this problem is the key to stopping the globalists and returning our country to the one given to us by our founders.

Mike Ware's avatar

Agreed 100%! It’s a complete and total UniParty. To a lifelong criminal class, Trump is just a blip on the radar. The Rino’s thwart him at every turn, meanwhile fundraising millions on his name! It’s incredible

A A Murray's avatar

And don’t forget that when new immigrants get a drivers licence they have the one piece of ID needed to get a ballot!

If you are a scrutineer during elections you will find that it isn’t just mail in ballots that you can get by signing an attestation form online it’s the walk ins that aren’t on voters lists who have drivers licences from other ridings and claim to be doing university programs in your city. They sign attestation forms too. And according to a returning officer that I questioned — those forms are NOT audited! They come in to returning offices a half dozen at a time!

Yes that shocked me as they were being held against their constitutional right to a fair and speedy trial. Yet Congress and Republican judges did nothing. For years!

ALtab's avatar

I agree, but nothing can be done to have true justice until the DOJ has been purged of corruption. Look up and read Sun Tsu’s The Art of War. It’s short and clearly explains much about the strategy being used.

Like the Europeans, who have done nothing against their enslavers for years now, the Canadian citizenry will reach the point of ‘no more,’ too.

The likely reason so much is being revealed now here is that enough of the citizens are awaken to a certain degree to proceed.

But, you are absolutely correct! Time will indeed tell!

Mike Ware's avatar

Yes, read Art of War 40yrs ago

DougMich's avatar

All true. Elissa Slotkin won here in Michigan despite 180,000 more votes than qualified voters. Our SoS is gearing up for next year’s election by changing administrative rules to make challenging voters a cause for arrest under the pretext of “harassment”. GOP is silent. I’m sure it’s happening elsewhere. Unless something happens to change that, Michigan will become California.

Mike Ware's avatar

Republicraps are spineless cretins. They disgust me. I consider them worse than demonrats because the demonrat tells you what they’re going to do to you, AND DO IT! The stupid party tells you what a great hardcore Christian conservative they are, every election cycle, and then go along with nearly everything the demons tell them to do. I’m 65yrs old and it’s been going on my entire life. Only things are worse now than they ever were. President Trump and a couple cabinet members seem to be alone trying to do what they promised. Speaker Johnson is worthless, you might as well forget about that twit “running” the senate. It’s truly pathetic.

Amazing piece.

Kit Klarenberg has done some great reporting on Britain’s relentless push for war with Russia. I have had suspicions about the British MO of starting world wars, blaming their opponents and dragging the US in to defend them. France did the same in their feeble attempt to recolonize Vietnam. Was Kissinger really just a globalist, conspiring to drain treasure from the US, under the guise of fighting communism? Was Nixon in on it?

What do you think about Hamilton’s role in imposing subservience via the creation of the first American Bank? I always thought his supposedly brilliant math to get the US out of debt was a ruse to indenture us again to the British bankers, which Andrew Jackson may have observed, as well? Was that, and the Second Bank, a precursor to the eventual Fed takeover? I recently read that a suspicious number of wealthy Americans, who would have opposed the Fed, were on the Titanic.

Weren’t they also a significant, though unofficial, force behind the Civil War and the assassination of Lincoln? Confederate agents spent a lot of time in Montreal…

Letsrock's avatar

And wasn't the Olympia, Titanic's older sister ship, the one actually in use at sea that night?

Navyo Ericsen's avatar

Yes, it was damaged and dressed up to look like the Titanic so JP Morgan's White Star Lines could cash in the insurance because it wasn't seaworthy - as well as get rid of those pesky nay-sayers to the Federal Reserve. Funny how the bankers are always behind everything.

Marian's avatar

The area where the Titanic sank is known as Iceberg Alley. The water there is colder there than on the European side. Giant iceberg are commonly seen off the coast of Newfoundland, 200 to 400 miles away. However, I don't believe it was an iceberg that sank the Titanic.

Some researchers say that those 3 people were not opposed to the Fed. I have no strong opinion on it. It's just interesting to hear different theories.

James Felter's avatar

I have read another report on the cause and coverup of the Titanic wreck.

There were two steering systems employed in steering shipping. One system turned the wheel to port to steer the ship to port. The other system turned the wheel to starboard to steer the ship to port. The Titanic used one system. The officer at the wheel when the iceberg was spotted had just come from a ship using the other system. He reacted by turning the ship away (he thought) and actually turned the ship toward the iceberg. By the time he figured this out, it was to late to miss the iceberg.

This was hidden by the survivors because the way the ship's insurance was written, loss of the ship to human error paid nothing to the dead crew's families whereas loss to act of God paid the families. The survivors all agreed to hide the fact for the sake of the dead's families. There was a deathbed confession by a surviving crew member generations later.

Marian's avatar

Possibly true, but there is another theory - that it was switched with a sister ship, the Olympia, for an insurance scam. Check out Parallel Mike podcast.

We need a universal day of protest against mass invasion. The birthrate dilemma is man made by the subjugators, expecting marginal populations to stop procreation. Allowing the labor scarcity dialog to fester and approve migrant invasions. Why aren’t these poor Islamist refugees fleeing to Muslim countries? They are not wanted there. They are parasites. And the west suicidally invites them in with benefits. Why not take them over and demand sharia institutions?

I hope to god we deport from every western nation the Islamist cancer entirely.

arrotsevni's avatar

I am in full agreement with your sentiment and directional perspective of Trump's policies. The tariffs are, at their most basic, a device for bringing back merit-based compensation. No longer will we ship our intellectual advantage that free speech and protections to intellectual property to support foreign welfare programs. Either they will produce competitively for markets or they will fail. Their people will benefit from coming off their tariff-protected welfare systems. Trump, however, will not end the attempts to revert back to the old system of wealth-at-the-top controlling elitist families. This is a forever issue with psychopaths/sociopaths born every minute and, I am in full agreement, fulfilled by wealthy-family inbreeding. That is, breeding within their elitist social grouping essentially passing the genetic makeup of what hopes to preserve wealth among themselves. Great wealth does create great problems for the rest of us. Perhaps we should have a wealth cap for those we place in authority? However, I think we are more in need an attitude/perception adjustment to be better at selecting what in business is called "servant-leadership". Trump is doing that. There are others who can follow if only we become better at evaluating political leaders. Term limits would go a long way towards preventing entrenchment.

Elizabeth, great article (as always). You are one of the few honest, capable journalists worth following. Yes, as you defined "mercantilism" it reminded me of a book by Peter C Newman, Caesars of the North. Peter describes in detail the fur trade in Canada in the 1600's run by the first two corporate companies, The Hudson Bay and the North West companies. Hudson Bay was British managed and North West was Scottish/French managed. But both were financed by British mercantilists! The Hudson Bay freighter canoes were manned by tough "coer de bois" (French, Natives, Scotts) and all had one British overseer at the back of the freighter to ensure no theft. These "freighters" would leave Lachine Quebec in May and ride the St Lawrence, Ottawa River, Lake Nipissing, French River, Georgian Bay/Great Lakes and the lake /river portages to Alberta by late fall. They would trade with the natives and return the following spring. Two supposed competing companies but controlled by British mercantilist money. And Canada's history, from the early fur trading companies to the Laurentian elite, all controlled by the British Empire.
